8bitedge — Retro Game Marketplace Search, Deal Alerts & Price Tracking
The edge in retro game collecting
SEARCH • TRACK • GET NOTIFIED
Having an edge isn't luck — it's information. 8bitedge gives retro collectors continuous marketplace monitoring, real-time alerts on listings that match your criteria, and price intelligence that flags the deals worth chasing.
Consoles worth collecting
We cover the platforms people are actually collecting for. Loose carts, complete in box, sealed — set your condition and price ceiling, and we'll notify you when we find a match.

How it works
eBay listings are messy. One seller writes “FF7 Black Label Complete”, the next buries the same game in a five‑game lot — so searching by name misses most of it. We read every listing as it goes up and work out what's actually in it.
- We work out which game it is. Even when the seller only writes FF7, calls it Ocarina of Time with no series name, or buries it in a bundle.
- We look at the photos. Cartridge, box and manual all showing means it's complete in box. Sealed copies get spotted too.
- We compare it to the right price. A loose cart is measured against loose prices, not a blended average, so “under market” actually means something.
Then we tell you straight away. Pick your games, set the condition and the most you'll pay, and alerts reach you in real time the moment a listing matches — you don't have to be watching.
Or look around yourself: Game Search, Live Deals and Lot Pricing all run on the same matched listings.
Why we built this
We grew up on Atari, Nintendo, and Sega, and like a lot of collectors our age, we eventually started rebuilding the game libraries we had as kids. 8bitedge began as a side project to make that easier for ourselves, and it's built the way we wanted to use it.
